THE BLOOMING DOME
In the modern world, society, our goals and plans, our children - in all aspects of life, we have taught ourselves to be in control. We are used to feeling safe only when we control ourselves, the present, and the future. We choose proven scenarios and do not notice how we build walls around us.
In the city, nature often reminds us that the beautiful, lively, strong knows no boundaries. We build buildings, roads, erect our kingdom of control, and nature, without stopping at anything, sprouts flowers and trees through asphalt and concrete walls.
I try to remind myself that we are all created by this beautiful chaos, and each of us has instincts and intuition that guide us. True beauty, an ideal, can only be created when you trust your most basic feelings, when you let go of control and just surrender to the flow.
I love to dig wild clay right out of the ground, often you don't even have to leave town to find a source of beautiful natural material to work with. So I feel a special connection with nature, native, real.
When I work with clay, I always give the material the opportunity to express itself. Often it is the clay that tells my hands what to do. Throughout the entire creative cycle, I respect this relationship on an equal footing. What shape will the clay choose, will it remain the same after firing, or will it change its mind?
Among my earlier works, there is a “Dome” construction, the top part of which is stylised as a texture of loose earth. In Blooming Dome, in search of a new shape, I created “leaves” that grew from the upper part of the construction, and only placing my creations next to each other I noticed that growth was literally realised in my works.
When creating the Blooming Dome, I explored the shape, went beyond. It consists of three parts - the body of an object in the form of a dome with holes at the top for placing “leaves” and a plant, a glass for water that is hidden inside, and the “leaves” themselves. Having made the “leaves” straight and flat, left them the opportunity to take the direction in the oven for themselves. After firing, the “leaves” placed in the structure created the image of a plant stretching towards the sun. This work calls for action: play, decorate it with a flower, change the “leaves” in places, or remove them at all. Natural ceramic constructor. The sculptural shape of the object makes it full and self-sufficient without plants inside. You can literally make yourself a bouquet without flowers.
My creativity affects me like falling in love. I feel happiness and tender excitement, I feel full contact between myself and mother nature. It charges me with inner strength, a wonderful state that I want to share with people. To convey that feeling when you create art, convey that feeling when you get closer with the earth.
That is why I create my works always heavy, tactile, and impressive in their physical properties. I want to give sensory impressions, awaken strong feelings without using words, using what nature gives.
People are now enjoying the fruits of the digital era intensively. I look around and I do not see faces - they are turned into screens. Adults and children alike get all positive emotions from content, even our basic needs are met online. There is no more need to be distracted from devices, they give us everything. I don't feel harmony, I don't feel real life in digitalisation. I want to pull a modern person into reality, give him the opportunity to interact with primitive, natal, and living. With something that is always with us, although we notice it less and less. Naturalisation.

PERSONAL FORECAST
This project of personality exploration describes the intuitive search of own role and place. The modern person has a wide range of opportunities, thus the roles we choose fastly lose their actuality in rapidly changing circumstances. Nowadays the atmosphere is tense and society is constantly adjusting the interaction etiquette. Living in the community implies interplay anyway, different levels of openness and self-expression are the subject in this work. The material for the objects - clay. The most ancient medium human worked with. Natural textures and colours used for the creation of these objects set the accent on the basic features of the material as referring to the natural, raw, unpolished beauty of a human being.
